About the Artist

Savannah Brandenburg is a Florida-based artist working under the name Dictator Sveta, creating vivid, dreamlike imagery that lives somewhere between fantasy and pop surrealism.
The name Dictator Sveta is rooted in lived experience rather than provocation. Savannah served eight years as an officer in the United States Air Force, an environment shaped by structure, discipline, and emotional restraint. During college, she lived and studied in Moscow, where she became fluent in Russian and adopted the nickname "Sveta." The name reflects a personal reclamation--transforming authority, rigidity, and past systems into imaginative freedom.
Her work blends feminine myth, psychedelic color, and surreal storytelling drawing inspiration from nature, folklore, and moments of quiet transformation. Using mediums such as oil pastel, soft pastel, acrylic, pen & ink, and digital illustration, she builds layered worlds that feel both intimate and otherworldly.
Each piece is created with intention and attention to detail, often incorporating hand-rendered textures, luminous color palettes, and symbolic motifs. Whether whimsical or dark, her work invites viewers into a space of imagination, introspection, and emotional resonance.
Savannah's artwork is collected nationwide and has been featured in exhibitions, publications, and curated art markets. Every original and print offered here is made in small batches or as a one-of-a-kind work, created and signed by the artist
